Inspired by the visual language of experimentation and sensory experiences The Department of Bed Intentions encompasses all things sex and sleep. The brand is curated to invoke the senses, from the textural feel of the packaging to Ul elements that interact like human play. Collaborating with the founding team the identity evolved from the idea of ‘pleasure as a practice’, highlighting the brands focus on not just product innovation, but informative and helpful communication that brings the user into their world.

Flings is a snack that reminds us of the past, filled with ingredients for those looking to improve themselves for the future. The brand balances fun, lightness and cheekiness with all the facts and details health-conscious consumers expect. With nods to the past from flowing patterns, bold product visualisations and an overall retro-futuristic feel, the identity is designed to evoke nostalgia while still feeling like something excitingly new.

Paradigm Park is an experience design agency that blends UI/UX thinking with physical space to create healthier systems and spaces. At the heart of Paradigm Park's brand lies a merry-go-round. As a spinning centerpiece, it symbolises shifting perspectives along with the calm and curiosity found within nature. Around it, digital landscapes unfold in full bloom, a blend of the art and science that defines their practice. As a window into a new and better world, the brand highlights the value of Paradigm's point of view.

SCA are audio analogue experts — helping customers get more from the music they love. Offering a range of products, services and experiences, the brand required an extensive and flexible identity that spoke equal parts emotive and technical. Being founded by an engineer, the core idea of the identity was inspired by user manuals and technical diagrams — paying tribute to the details that are often overlooked, but give each piece of equipment ‘that sound’.

Origin to Object was an exhibition curated by CERES Fair Wood for Melbourne Design Week 2023. The exhibition highlighted the connection made when carrying forward the story and knowledge of a tree, through the grower, the miller and the maker. Rather than focusing on finished pieces, or the makers themselves, the identity highlights the origin of the tree using a distinctive cutting or branch silhouette. Building on this, the choice of typography draws influence from those used in historical botanical documentation.

Gettys gets hospitality, from storyline to bottomline. A considered use of blue paired with a bold typographic approach balances creativity with credibility, while a foundational grid system conveys structure and flexibility. Photography shifts focus from static spaces to lived-in moments, revealing the detailed thinking behind each guest experience. Together, these elements emphasise Gettys' position as the rare partner who speaks the languages of both hospitality design and development with equal fluency.

Kindred Forms, an exhibition by Ka Ra Studio is a collection of tables inspired by the forms of iconic mechanical companions from pop culture and science fiction, drawing thoughtful parallels between their helpful nature and the purpose of functional furniture. The identity balances a minimal aesthetic with the somewhat clunky charm and quirks of the robots that inspired the range — pairing the more graphic elements with art direction nodding to mid-century advertising photoshoots and science fiction ‘futuristic’ TV sets.

Society De La Rassi is a premium dealcoholised sparkling wine — a marriage of tradition and innovation, raising a glass to a group of previously overlooked consumers: the sober-curious and highly-social. The identity is anchored in the brands signature bold red rectangle paired with eclectic typography that re-interprets heritage and luxury cues, paying homage to classical craft while remaining undeniably modern.

Sozo Amour is a Melbourne based online store and community resource, sourcing archival and designer clothing. The brand was created as a contrast against an often too closed off and ‘exclusive’ industry, creating a collaborative community that supports and empowers new-comers and those wanting to learn more about the items. The identity, while being inspired by a mix of traditional and contemporary fashion influences, heroes the details of the products to engage customers in the specifics of what makes their items truly special.
